Covid Thanks

United Reformed Church Giving Thanks for Our Vaccine

The URC is concerned about the unfair rollout of COVID vaccines around the world where the poorest and most vulnerable are being pushed to the back of the queue. Working with Christian Aid they have suggested that people may wish to make a donation as a thanksgiving for having their own vaccine. To press date in March they had raised £8,815 towards their target of £10,000. The money raised will help protect those who don’t have easy access to vaccines. As we realise, coronavirus is a global pandemic and can only be dealt with globally.

Donations can be made online by typing in the heading above in Google or by cheque sent to Christian Aid if you wish to support this appeal. Online donations go through something called Tap Simple which works in a very similar way to Just Giving. UNICEF are also running a similar fund raising for vaccines scheme.
