Activities for Others

Totley Brook Club

The Totley Brook Club is a friendly club of over 60s for both men and women. It meets on Tuesday afternoon, every fortnight from 2.30 pm to 4 pm breaking at 3 pm for a cup of tea and a biscuit. Activities have included a variety of talks, cookery and flower arranging demonstrations, film shows and visits to stately homes. In mid summer there is an afternoon tea and at Christmas there is a Christmas party. This is an open club, anyone is welcome and transport can be arranged.

Wednesday Guild

This is a group of ladies who meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 10.15 am to hear talks on a variety of interesting subjects. The group also supports the church at the Christmas and Spring Fairs and they have the occasional coffee morning for a charitable cause.

Ladies' Group

The Ladies' Group was re-formed in April 1998 to promote fellowship, friendship and principally to encourage new members. It meets on the first Wednesday with a varied programme of activities. More people are welcome to join the group.

Dramatic Society

There are usually two productions a year, in March and October. Members come from the church and the community and the primary aim is a social one. The society would welcome more members both on stage and behind the scenes.

Social Club

Membership is open to all. A warm welcome is extended to everyone, whether or not they are connected with the church. The club meets every Thursday evening from September to mid April from 7.45 pm to 10 pm with a varied programme of activities and entertainments.
